YourMonitor is a general-purpose monitor color management tool for Windows. It allows users to adjust brightness, contrast, and gamma on any connected display. It is designed for general use content creation, productivity, night-time viewing, and personal preference and is not designed for, marketed toward, or intended to interact with any specific application or game.
YourMonitor uses the standard Windows SetDeviceGammaRamp API to apply color adjustments at the display hardware level. This is the same mechanism used by:
YourMonitor does not inject code into any process, does not read or write game memory, does not hook into any application, and does not communicate with any running software other than the Windows display API.
When you purchase YourMonitor, our payment processor (Paddle) collects your email address and payment information to complete the transaction and deliver your license key. We receive only your email address for the purpose of sending your license key.
We do not collect:
To verify your license, the app sends your license key and a hardware identifier (Windows Machine GUID) to our server. This check happens on first activation and periodically in the background. No other data is transmitted. The Machine GUID is used solely to bind your license to your PC and is never shared or used for any other purpose.
Your license token is stored locally in the Windows Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\YourMonitor. No personal data is stored on your device by the app beyond this token.
On our server, we store your email address and license key solely to provide support and validate your purchase. We do not sell, share, or transfer this data to any third party.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at yourcolorsupport@gmail.com. We will remove your email and license record as soon as reasonably possible.
