Data Deletion

Last updated: July 26, 2026

You can disconnect a social account at any time. You can also ask YourTools to delete data associated with your purchase or support record.

1. Disconnect YourPost Accounts

  1. Open YourPost and go to the connected account.
  2. Choose Log out.
  3. Confirm the action. YourPost removes the locally saved access and refresh tokens and the displayed account details from that Windows device.

Disconnecting in YourPost does not delete your social-platform account or any video already published there.

If an upload is waiting for a local scheduled time, cancel it from the Uploads page before logging out. Scheduled post details are stored on your computer, not on YourTools servers.

2. Revoke Platform Access

For an additional revocation, remove YourPost from the connected platform's account settings:

Revoking access prevents YourPost from making future requests for that account. You can reconnect later by authorizing again.

3. Request Deletion From YourTools

Email yourcolorsupport@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request. Send the request from the email address used for your purchase when possible, and identify the YourTools app involved. Do not send a password, social access token, payment card number, or platform login details.

We may ask for limited information needed to verify that the record belongs to you. Once verified, we will delete the applicable support, email, and license records held by YourTools as soon as reasonably possible and normally within 30 days, except where retention is required for fraud prevention, payment disputes, tax, or other legal obligations.

4. Temporary Instagram Media

A video temporarily uploaded for Instagram publishing is deleted after the publishing operation or automatically expires. The default temporary-media lifetime is approximately two hours. It is not retained as a video library and does not require a separate deletion request.

5. What Deletion Changes

Deleting a license record may end access to the related paid app and can prevent us from restoring that license later. Deleting YourTools records does not remove content or records controlled independently by TikTok, Google/YouTube, Instagram/Meta, Paddle, or another third-party service. Contact that service directly for deletion of data it controls.
